Hon’ble BJP National President Shri J.P. Nadda ji’s initiative – Rashtriya Swasthaya Swayamsevak Prashikshan Abhiyan
The Corona pandemic has devastated several countries. India has not remained untouched by this catastrophe. Despite several hardships and challenges, the way India under the decisive leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has fought a courageous battle against the Corona pandemic to defeat it, is unprecedented.
During the first and second wave of the Corona pandemic besides testing, ventilator operation and general medical aid, the need for health volunteers was greatly felt across the country who could help the medical staff in providing help and also care for all those who were admitted in hospitals.
During the review meeting of ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan’ initiative of the Bharatiya Janata Party on June 6-7, 2021, the party President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji had called a meeting of the party national office bearers where the Honourable Party President discussed in detail the need for augmenting the number of health workers across the country. Before this the Bharatiya Janata Party also started the important initiative of ‘Apna booth Corona mukht’ which was also the brainchild of the BJP President. In this meeting the Bharatiya Janata Party National President also decided to create a potent force of health volunteers across the country. The idea and vision of Shri Nadda ji behind creating a force of health volunteers was that it would not only help in effectively in fight against the Corona pandemic but it will also help in creating a workforce of health volunteers who will play an effective role in any health crisis situation in future besides strengthening our health infrastructure.
To make this vision a reality, the Bharatiya Janata Party National President on July 28, 2021 kickstarted the ‘Rashtriya Swasthya Swayamsevak Abhiyan’ from the BJP headquarters to train health volunteers across the country. The tagline of this programme was — ‘Yatha yathay tushyat tatha santoshyet tum’, which means that the person whom we serve and help, his happiness and wellbeing is our satisfaction. This line clearly reflects the Bharatiya Janata Party’s commitment and dedication towards social service and public welfare. With these thoughts our workers have been running such a big ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan’ initiative under such challenging and tough conditions to help and serve the poor and needy people.
Shri Nadda ji has fixed a target for the party that through the ‘Rashtriya Swasthya Swayamsevak Abhiyan’ we have to reach two lakh villages across the country. For this the Bharatiya Janata Party has set the target of training 4 lakh health volunteers across the country. So far over 1,03,872 health volunteers have registered for the programme. Under the training programme the Bharatiya Janata Party will train two health volunteers (one male and one female) in each booth who will take care of their respective booths for the Corona pandemic. They will be equipped with an oximeter, thermometer, antibody boosters and rapid antigen test kit. Apart from creating awareness about the Corona pandemic, they will also help in treatment and fight against the Coronavirus.
By August 30, 2021 the Bharatiya Janata Party will complete the training programme at the state level, district level and mandal level. In the training programme the health volunteers are being told what will be the role and responsibilities of a health volunteer, what will be their work, how will they ensure Covid appropriate behaviour, how to boost immunity and how to help and assist common man during need and crisis. Apart from doing their awareness creation and basic work, a health volunteer will also help in basic testing, will see when a patient needs hospitalisation and also help a patient getting admitted in hospital /.
Under the guidance of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and under the leadership of Honourable BJP President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda ji, the Bharatiya Janata Party ran ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan ‘programme, across India which was the world’s biggest social and public service drive. During the first and second wave of the Corona pandemic, lakhs of BJP workers took to streets without caring for their own health and wellbeing to serve the sick, poor and needy people under the party’s ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan’ programme. The Bharatiya Janata Party workers fully dedicated themselves in the service of humanity. During the Corona pandemic the Bharatiya Janata Party workers distributed 50-60 crore food packets, 25 crore food packets and 25 crore face masks and 20 crore hand sanitizers l.
In the past one and half years almost all the political parties of our country went into isolation and self quarantine, but it was only the Bharatiya Janata Party which selflessly served the needy and sick people across the country. While almost all the political parties confined themselves to Twitter and press conferences, it was the Bharatiya Janata Party which continued to serve the people of the country. The Bharatiya Janata Party workers continue to serve the people of the country.
