Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda today addressed members of various communities at the “Social Group” congregation held at Siliguri in West Bengal. He asked people to uproot Trinamool Congress Government in West Bengal which has nurtured politics and governance of violence, corruption and vandalism and asked people to support BJP which will give a clean and progressive government.

Mr Nadda, who was on a day-long visit to Siliguri, said Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to uproot Trinamool Congress Government which has ruined lives and livelihoods of people.

On reaching Siliguri Mr Nadda was given rousing welcome by party workers. The visit of Mr Nadda has instilled new vigour and enthusiasm to BJP workers.

The BJP President garlanded the statue of great reformer Dr Panchanan Verma at Nauka Ghat and paid rich tributes. Mr Nadda also visited famous Anandmayi Kalibari Temple and worshipped there. He then addressed BJP workers conference

The Mamta Banerjee government is West Bengal is not implementing a  free health insurance scheme, which has promised an annual health cover of Rs 5 lakh for 55 crore people in the country. She says it is not possible. I say that you bring BJP to power in the state and we will make it possible.

I want to appeal to all the BJP Members of Parliament from West Bengal to make a list of all the local products in the state, formulate a scheme and a roadmap for their expansion. Under the leadership of our Prime Minister Narendra Modiji, the government of India will brand and market these local products all across the world.

Modi government has started numerous schemes for the benefit of the migrant workers. Forty-four Labour Laws have been subsumed under four codes. Our government at the Centre has abolished the Plantation Labour Act and this has been brought under the Minimum Wages Act. Now labourers who are working in tea plantations will get wages that are mandated by the Minimum Wages Act.

Citizenship (Amendment) Act, 2019 (CAA) has already been passed by the Parliament. At present, the government in working on framing the laws under the Act. Under this act, all the eligible people will definitely get Indian citizenship.

I met and discussed with the Railway minister about the demand for railways in northern West Bengal. After the Vijayadashmi celebrations, all the BJP MPs from north Bengal will sit with the Railways Minister and will solve all the railways related problems and bottlenecks in the region.

Mamta Banerjee government has deeply hurt and humiliated the Hindu community in the state and as elections are fast approaching, the TMC sensing a backlash changed their tune and now are trying to lure people with all sorts of things.
