- On July 28 , 2021 I had started the Rashtriya Swasthya Swayamsevak Abhiyan with the goal of training at least 4 lakh Swasthya Swayamsevaks in 2 lakh villages across the country.
- Under the Rashtriya Swasthya Swayamsevak Abhiyan we have trained and created a force of 6,88,000 volunteers in just 43 days. For this marvellous achievement I heartily congratulate the entire Bharatiya Janata Party and the team and my colleagues who made this possible in a record time.
- All our health volunteers are trained in antigen testing, blood pressure management apart from other skills which are needed in identifying a Corona patient and also to give them basic treatment. Soon the number of our health volunteers — Swasthya Swayamsevaks — will cross 8 lakhs, further strengthening our force of health volunteers in dealing with the Corona pandemic.
- Every year the Bharatiya Janata Party celebrates September 17, the birthday of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, as ‘Sewa Diwas’, and this year on September 17 we will give new dimensions to the vaccination drive and set a new benchmark.
- I would urge each and every worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party that on September 17 they will ensure that whosoever has been left unvaccinated in their booths should get their vaccination done at their nearest vaccination centre. BJP workers will ensure and coordinate that everyone gets vaccinated without any delay.
- On September 17 we will go out with full preparation to make the mega vaccination drive successful. It is the responsibility of every BJP worker that no one should be left out of this massive vaccination drive being carried out across India.
- To make our vaccination drive highly successful I will send a message to all the Bharatiya Janata Party workers on September 11. On September 13, I will discuss the preparedness of the mega vaccination drive with all the BJP state presidents and organisational general secretaries. On September 15, I will interact with all the Swasthya Swayamsevaks, the number of whom would have crossed 7 lakhs by then, which will ensure that we are fully ready and committed to make the massive vaccination drive highly successful and that no citizen should remain unvaccinated.
- The workforce of trained Swasthya Swayamsevaks we have today will help the country and health departments across the States to make various health programmes successful. We will also make programmes and policies in this direction so that optimum utilisation of our trained Swasthya Swayamsevaks could be done.
- We want the benefits of such a large force of trained Swasthya Swayamsevaks all citizens across the country should get. The trained Swasthya Swayamsevaks will also give new impetus to the health programmes across India.
- India has set various world records in its highly successful Covid vaccination drive. India’s Covid vaccination drive is the world’s largest and fastest vaccination drive. India today is fast vaccinating its citizens and is also helping various countries in its vaccination drive.
- I appeal to all the Bharatiya Janata Party workers to make maximum effort to make the Covid vaccination drive highly successful . Each and every worker of the party should motivate people across the country to get vaccinated at the earliest.
