SALIENT POINTS OF THE SPEECH OF THE BJP NATIONAL PRESIDENT SHRI JAGAT PRAKASH NADDA JI GIVEN TODAY AT THE GOA BJP HEADQUARTERS WHILE RELEASING THE REPORT CARD OF THE 10 YEARS OF THE BJP GOVERNMENT IN GOA AND FLAGGING OFF OF THE SANKALP RATH TO TAKE SUGGESTIONS FROM THE PEOPLE OF THE STATE FOR THE BJP’S MANIFESTO

Today I am presenting the report card of the 10 years of the Bharatiya Janata Party government in Goa. It is the work culture and commitment of the BJP that we present before the public the report card of our governments. And this commitment you will find only in the Bharatiya Janata Party because we deliver what we promise, and whatever we will promise and commit, we will surely deliver. the Bharatiya Janata Party government fulfills all its promises and commitments.

The people of Goa has decided to continue walking on the path of development and growth under the leadership of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and once again vote the Bharatiya Janata Party in power in the state with massive majority. Under the double engine government of the Bharatiya Janata Party a culture of development has been established in Goa.

In the core of our efforts of growth and development of Goa is the cooperation of the people of the state and our commitment to improve life of every citizen. The Bharatiya Janata Party has always stood the politics of development, growth and upliftment of every section of the society. It is only the Bharatiya Janata Party which has stood with the people of Goa even in adversity.

In the past 10 years the Bharatiya Janata Party government has developed Goa into a model state. And we recommit and rededicate ourselves for making ‘Golden Goa’ in next 5 years.

Just compare the development of Goa under previous governments from the state’s independence to 10 years ago with the 10 year rule of the Bharatiya Janata Party government. The Bharatiya Janata Party government has changed the face and fortune of Goa. We have written a new chapter of growth, development, progress and prosperity in the state.

We have always believed that the people of Goa will decide the future of Goa. And that is the reason that the Bharatiya Janata Party is coming to you, to seek your opinions, to seek you suggestions, to seek your guidance that what should be the Goa of future, we want to know how Goa should be developed and taken ahead.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has brought about fundamental change in Indian politics and political system. Earlier opposition parties used to make grand promises, they used to create rift in the society, they used to do politics of vote bank and appeasement. These parties used to fill their own coffers and used to cheat and fool the people. In every election they used to lie blatantly and conspire just to grab votes and to loot the exchequer

But since our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has come to power, these Opposition parties have been forced to change track. Now they are forced to talk about the welfare of the people, they are forced to care for the people. One should not forget the corruption was at its peak during the Congress rule. But now under the leadership of our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji India has regained its position in the world arena, India is admired, appreciated and lauded everywhere.

Earlier it was our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji which truly and sincerely served the people of India, and now it is the Bharatiya Janata Party government under our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji which is tirelessly working for the welfare and upliftment of every section of the society. All the other governments did nothing for the people of the country, they just served the interests of a few people and we’re deeply involved in massive corruption. They worked against the interests of the country.

In the last 10 years the Bharatiya Janata Party government, first under the leadership of Shri Manohar Parrikar ji and now under Shri Pramod Sawant ji, have taken Goa to the newer heights of growth, development, progress and prosperity.

Today Goa has one of the best law and order mechanisms in the country. Today the crime rate of Goa has seen a decline of 101%. Today Goa has the most crime detection rate in the country.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Goa has done great job in improving health care infrastructure and launched various health policies for the people of the state. The BJP government has also increased the number of PHCs from 19 to 55 thus ensuring proper health coverage across the state.

Under the Jal Jivan Mission, every household in Goa is being connected with piped water connection. Every household in Goa is being given 16,000 liters of free water every day. Similarly, under the Swachh Bharat Mission the garbage collection work is happening in every household across Goa.
