I want to thank the people of Assam for defeating the political conspiracy of separatism and communalism being hatched in Assam by once again giving clear mandate to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the assembly elections. It also want to thank the people of Assam for trusting Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and his vision of growth and development and voting for the BJP so that the journey of progress and development can continue unhindered in the state.

The campaign against drugs which our government has initiated is a big gift to the youths of Assam. An environment which is favourable for investment and development is being created in Assam.

In Assam while the dialogue has been initiated with the separatists forces , our government is also carrying out counter insurgency operations. The message of our government is very simple, those who want to join the mainstream peacefully they all are welcome, but those who will take law in their hands and disturb peace, they will be sternly dealt with and will not be spared.

The Bharatiya Janata Party government in Assam has made several schemes to preserve and promote the state’s rich culture and traditions. Under the Arunodaya Yojna incomes of 17 lakh marginal families have been increased. The state government has also made guardian ministers which will ensure fast growth and development of districts and will also ensure proper implementation of all government schemes at the ground level.

In the second wave of the Corona pandemic neither the Congress party nor Badaruddin Ajmal and his party were nowhere to be seen helping the poor and effected people.  The reality is that both the parties have nothing to do with welfare and betterment of the people of Assam, they just want votes of the people of Assam.  My words have again proven to be correct that they are just political tourists.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji made great efforts to establish Yoga on the world stage. He is also instrumental in taking the Assam tea around the globe. But it is the Congress party which has conspired to demean and malign our ancient tradition of Yoga and also Assam tea.

India’s Corona vaccination programme is the world’s largest and fastest vaccination programme. But the Opposition parties continue to play its petty and dirty politics over the vaccine and vaccination drive. Today, India is no longer a vaccine borrower nation, India is now a vaccine giver nation where it has given Made In India vaccines to so many countries.

India has overtaken the US in terms of vaccinating its citizens. In India around 32.38 crore Corona vaccine doses have so far been given to citizens.

In Assam around 2300 Corona vaccination centres have been set up where every day onnan average 3.5 lakh Corona vaccine doses are being administered on a daily basis. So far in Assam over 69 lakh Corona vaccine doses have been administered.  On a single day on June 21 around 3.75 lakh vaccine doses were administered in Assam. Assam has set the target of vaccinating 2.25 crore citizens.

There have been several leaders who just delivered empty talks about farmers’ welfare and made false promises, but the amount of splendid work and the kind of pro farmer and pathbreaking policies and initiatives that our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji have taken and initiated no one has done so much of work for our farmers in the last 70 years since Independence.

The Narendra Modi Government increased the Agriculture Budget from Rs 1.21 lakh crores to Rs 2.11 lakh crores. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme till date Rs 1.36 lakh crores has been directly transferred into the bank accounts of 10 crores farmers. The Narendra Modi Government has also increased the subsidy of DAP by 140% to help small and marginal farmers across the country.

Under the ‘Sewa Hi Sangathan 2.0 Abhiyan’ the Bharatiya Janata Party workers in Assam distributed around 9.62 lakh face masks, around 27000 food packets and over 75000 ration kits to needy and poor people during the Corona pandemic. Similarly, around 4000 party workers are currently engaged in ‘Mera Booth Corona Mukt’ programme in the state to create awareness about the Corona vaccination programme.
