Salient points of speech of BJP National President, Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda’s address after inaugurating BJP’s election office in Kolkata and inaugurating nine BJP district offices in West Bengal through video conferencing
In West Bengal, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has grown from 4% to 40% vote share and from two Lok Sabha seats to 18. In the 2021 assembly elections in the state, BJP will cross the 200-seats mark and will form the government with full majority after uprooting the Mamata Banerjee government.
*******************
BJP’s ‘hardware’ and ‘software’, both are growing in West Bengal. Lot of cadres are joining the party and it’s offices in the state are also growing. These are the places from where the movement is building up to throw out the Mamata Banerjee government.
*******************
During the lockdown, while Bharatiya Janata Party cadres were busy day and night serving the people, TMC was busy trying to stop the BJP cadres from serving the people.
*******************
Our West Bengal state President, Shri Dilip Ghosh, Subhash Sarkar, Arjun Singh, Deboshree Chaudhry, John Barala, Sukant Majumdar and several of our leaders were put under despite that our hardworking leaders kept on guiding and motivating the party cadres as well as serving the people of the state.
*******************
The TMC government is against humanity and has crossed all boundaries of political intolerance. The other name of political intolerance is Mamata Banerjee. In the last few years in the state 130 party cadres have sacrificed their lives and I have myself performed the Tarpan for more than 100 of our cadres.
*******************
I want to congratulate our party cadres that in such tough conditions they have refused to give up and are working hard against all odds. I have complete faith that in 2021, the Mamata Banerjee government will be finished in West Bengal.
*******************
The Bengal which was once known for its culture, large heart and Sonar Bangla is now remains merely a shadow of its glorious past. Today, the TMC government is indulging in violence, corruption, nepotism and is working against developing the state.
*******************
Recently, our MLA Shri Debendra Nath Ray was brutally murdered, but his murder was tried to be shown as a suicide. Our young party colleague, Shri Manish Shukla was brutally murdered in broad daylight using automatic weapons and the killers have still not been caught. It’s clear that these are state sponsored killings and to the police force in the state is also being politicised for narrow-minded political gains.
*******************
Recently, Jadavapur University Professor, Shri Ambikesh Mahapatra was arrested for no reason; Araambagh TV Editor, Shri Shafikul Islam was also arrested because he tried to unearth the corruption by the TMC. Similarly, Anand Bazaar Patrika’s editor, Shri Anirban Chattopadhyay was removed overnight because he tried to bring the truth before the government.
*******************
To terrorise our cadres in Jungle Mahal, TMC is releasing criminals from jail and is making them their party spokespersons. TMC government is indulging in the politics of appeasement in West Bengal.
*******************
On July 30th and August 1st lockdown was removed due to Eid. We have no objections to this, but again on August 5th, a curfew was clamped down and it was the same day on which Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi was laying the foundation stone for a grand temple for Shri Ram in Ayodhya, thereby fulfilling a dream of crores of Indians.
*******************
We have to work to create a developed Bengal and have to walk forward with everyone. Whether it is a case of domestic violence against women or human trafficking or crime against women, today West Bengal is number one in all these heinous acts.
*******************
Now Mamata Banerjee government has stopped giving latest statistics from the crime records bureau data. Whether it is corona or dengue, No information is provided now.
*******************
Mamata Banerjee government has tried to usurp the rights of poor and farmers in the state. The government is neither allowing people to take benefit of the Ayushman Bharat yojna, nor is it allowing farmers to enjoy the benefits of the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojna. Around 75 lakh farmers in the state have been deprived of this benefit.
*******************
Whether it is the Bihar assembly elections or the various assembly by-elections or polls to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation or the local body elections in Rajasthan, the poor, farmers and villages have showered their blessings and love on Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party.
*******************
During the lockdown, around Rs 2,100 crore worth of assistance was provided to 21.33 lakh women, Divyangas (physically handicapped) and senior citizens in West Bengal. Besides, 8.77 lakh tonnes of food grains were provided got the people during the lockdown and 8.67 lakh tonnes was provided during the unlock phases.
