BJP National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda today listened to the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast along with senior BJP leaders and workers at the Vasant Vihar Mandal in Delhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda today listened to the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ broadcast’s 83rd edition along with senior BJP leaders and workers at Ram Mandir Park near Moti Bagh Gurudwara under the the Booth No. 3 in Vasant Vihar Mandal in Delhi.

Several senior Bharatiya Janata Party leaders were present on the occasion which included BJP National Vice President and Delhi unit in-charge Shri Vijayant Jay Panda, BJP Delhi unit president Shri Adesh Gupta, Union Minister of State for Foreign Affair Smt Minakshi Lekhi, BJP National Media Head and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Anil Baluni and BJP National Media Co-head Dr Sanjay Mayukh. A large number of BJP workers were also present on the occasion. Earlier Shri Nadda has listened to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme at East Patel Nagar Booth No. 143 in Delhi.

Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party workers after listening to the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme, the BJP National President said this unique initiative by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji not only connects him directly with the masses but also gives the nation a vision and direction to move forward.

The Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme was started on October 3, 2014 and the beauty and highlight of the programme is that Honourable Shri Narendra Modi ji has never talked about politics nor has he used this platform for any political purposes. To keep on continuing the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme for 83 episodes and keep the crores of people engaged and enthralled is not a mean task. The Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme has shown the world how a big country and a diverse society like India can be brought together. It is a unique example of how a tool is being so effectively used by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji to give his message so emphatically and with clarity which is helping India to move forward.

Shri Nadda said in today’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji talked about cultural issues. Through the ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme he has taken India’s rich culture and traditions to every corner of the world. The Honourable Prime Minister has made our countrymen aware about the cultural and social renaissance that is taking place in India and also by Indians abroad. He presented several stellar examples of people who are taking forward India’s rich culture, heritage and traditions forward.

Today the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji today talked about Shri Ram Kumar Joshi, a miniature writer from Una in Himachal Pradesh, how he has made sketches and told the life stories of our great leaders on a postage stamp.

Through the ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji made 130 crore Indians aware about the rich culture, traditions and life of the people of the North-eastern states. Today the people of India would be feeling elated and happy to know that our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji made all of us aware about the rich culture, heritage and traditions of our country – from Jammu and Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Kuchh to the North -eastern states. Through the ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme he also made us aware about various festivals of various states of India. India is such a rich and diverse country where on a single day people from various states celebrate various festivals in their own rich and unique way.

The BJP National President said through his ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has been discussing and talking about various important leaders and personalities. Today he talked about Bharat Ratna Honourable Baba Saheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar ji. On November 26 the nation celebrated Constitution Day and an important function was also held in Parliament . Shri Modi ji also talked about the Mahaparinirvan Diwas.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has also been talking about environment and climate change and has been alerting and making all of us aware about the challenges and dangers of climate change and environment degradation. In the Glasgow Summit the forceful and emphatic manner in which the concerns of India were highlighted and addressed which clearly shows the commitment and dedication of India and Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji towards the environment. Shri Modi ji also talked about Women Empowerment and how it is important for the growth and development of India. He also referred to the importance and significance of Self – Help Groups and talked about how women in our villages are taking benefits from various government schemes and are thus contributing to India‘s economic and social development. The Honourable Prime Minister shared with the people of India the success stories of our Self -Help Groups and women and asked people to take inspiration from them and also contribute towards the nation’s progress and prosperity.

Shri Nadda further said today our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji also discussed the Ayushman Bharat Yojna and told the people how this unique medical insurance scheme is helping crores of needy and poor people across India and how it is improving lives and living of all Indians. With the help of Ayushman Bharat Yojna poor women are getting free open heart surgeries, several women also got free knee replacement surgeries done who are now able to walk without pain and lead a normal life.These are all the sterling examples of the success of the Ayushman Bharat Scheme. Shri Modi ji through his ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme has deeply discussed issues related to health and wellbeing and has urged the people of the country to adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay fit.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji through his ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme has also talked about sports and sporting personalities and told the people how sportspersons and athletes have worked very hard to bring laurels for India and has kept our heads high in international tournaments. Today youth discuss the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and Asian Games. There is so much awareness about sports in the country. Shri Modi ji also talked about the women sports personalities from Manipur and how they have won several international medals in various sports.

The Bharatiya Janata Party National President said while in other nations it was only their governments which fought against the Corona pandemic, but in India all the 130 crore Indians joined hands with our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in waging a decisive battle against the Coronavirus. The Opposition parties mocked the initiatives like ‘Tali Bajana’, ‘Thali Bajana’ and ‘Diya Jalana’ which were initiated by our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji which gave 130 crore Indians confidence and strength to fight against the deadly Coronavirus and face the epidemic.

Our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji in his ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme also talked about the capabilities and efficiencies of India. He talked about a youth and his innovation where he reduced the carbon emission of his motorcycle and increased the engine efficiency. The Narendra Modi government gave financial assistance to that youth and helped him establish his start-up.

Exporting the Bharatiya Janata Party office bearers and workers, the National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda said our goal is that we will all gather together and listen to our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme every month. We will then discuss and deliberate upon the various issues and subjects raised by our Honourable Prime Minister and then formulate a strategy to implement what Shri Modi ji has asked us to do. There are over 10.40 lakh booths across India. It is our goal and aim that till May 2022 all BJP office bearers and workers should listen to ‘Mann Ki Baat‘ programme in all the booths across India . Not a single booth should remain in Delhi where the gathering of BJP workers to listen to the ‘Mann ki Baat’ programme should not happen . Every month our Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji connects with the people of the country with his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, so it is the moral duty of every BJP worker that he should also get connected with Shri Modi ji. So I appeal to every office bearer and worker to come together and listen to the ‘Mann ki Baat‘ programme.
