The CPM which ruled West Bengal for three decades and the Congress party which was in power for two and a half decades, both have been completely eliminated in this assembly election. This time there was no one that stood in front of Trinamool Congress, it was only the Bharatiya Janata Party which challenged the TMC. We will play the role of a responsible and constructive Opposition in West Bengal.

TMC started the politics of violence, anarchy and demolition even before winning the assembly elections. Elections were also held in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Assam, but there was no violence in these states, and the reason behind this was that there was no Trinamool Congress. Mamata Banerjee, Corruption and TMC are synonymous to each other.

In the post poll violence in West Bengal, 1,399 properties were vandalized, 1298 people were booked by the police, 676 cases of loot were reported and at least 108 families were threatened. Nearly 2,067 complaints have been filed by the Election Commission which are related to post poll violence, 254 cases in Human Rights Committee, 1769 cases in SC Commission, 25 cases in ST Commission, 19 cases in Women Commission and 5,650 cases as general police complaints were registered in West Bengal.

Despite the fact that Mamata Banerjee is the Chief Minister of West Bengal most atrocities against women took place in the state. We should bring this fact before the public and expose Mamata Banerjee and her anti-women government. If even women are not safe in the government which is headed by a woman chief minister, then what kind of politics is this?

Today the report of the Fact Finding Committee constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Post Poll Violence in West Bengal has come out. It has come to the fore that the violence in West Bengal took place under a well-planned conspiracy. Criminals and conspirators in collusion with a political party carried out massive post-election violence in West Bengal.

According to the report, those who were anti-Trinamool Congress were killed and tortured. There were incidents of rape, many houses were destroyed, victims were prevented from going to the police station and fines were imposed on those who were working for the Bharatiya Janata Party.

The Fact Finding Committee in its report found that the West Bengal police remained a complete mute spectator throughout the post-poll violence, nothing could be more shameful than this. Even the Aadhar cards and ration cards of the workers of the Opposition parties were snatched by the TMS goons.

It has also been revealed in the report of the High Powered Committee that in West Bengal, SC, ST, women and people of weaker sections of the society were targeted by the TMS goons. Why have all the Opposition parties of the country remained mum on this? Where have the so-called human rights activists disappeared and where have the so called champions of Dalits rights failed to speak a word?

When there is violence against Dalits, Backward, Adivasis and women in West Bengal, the so-called human rights activists very conveniently keep their mouths shut. Now it is our responsibility to expose such so-called human rights activists and show their real face to the people.

Around 2,100 complaints have been registered against Trinamool Congress workers in connection with the scam in Amphan cyclone relief work. The Trinamool Congress government weakened the fight against Covid, fudged the reports, misbehaved with the Centre’s Covid relief team and did not allow them to work in West Bengal.

If all time low vaccination is happening anywhere in the country, it is in Bengal. The Trinamool Congress government first tried to derail the entire vaccination programme in the state, then later tried to take credit for it.

There has also been a scam in the vaccination program in West Bengal, and ironically in the scam that happened the victim was a Trinamool Congress MP who was given a fake vaccine. Mamta Didi, when you support the corrupt you too will become their prey, and this is what happened with your MP.

In the second installment of the Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, 1,80,551 metric tonnes of wheat and 1,20,368 metric tonnes of rice is being sent to West Bengal by the Narendra Modi government, but we have serious doubts whether it will reach the needy and poor people of Bengal. Every BJP worker has to ensure that the benefits of this scheme reach every poor household of West Bengal. Every poor and needy person should be benefitted from it, it is the responsibility of the BJP workers in the state.

We took a handful of rice from the farmers of West Bengal with the commitment and resolve that we will solve all their problems. Today Mamta Didi has bowed down and we have been able to give Rs 2000 each in the eighth installment of the Kisan Samman Nidhi to 20 lakh out of 72 lakh farmers of West Bengal.

The poor of the country are being benefited from the Ayushman Bharat, but I have to say with great sadness and regret that 4.67 crore people of West Bengal are deprived of this important health and medical benefit. The BJP workers should tell the people of the state how the Trinamool Congress government has deprived them of the benefits of Ayushman Bharat.

Considering the Corona vaccination drive and the PM Garib Kalyan Yojana as their own programme, the BJP workers should play their part in taking it to the people so that the maximum number of people benefit from it. We will continue to fight for the people of West Bengal. The report of the High Powered Committee has come, and we will also fight the legal battle, we will also knock on the door of the court and we will end this anti-democracy and anarchist mentality of Mamta Didi in a democratic way.
